Check Compatibility Before Ordering
Before you buy, confirm the required:
- Bolt diameter and length
- Baseplate-hole dimensions
- Embedment depth
- Concrete condition and thickness
- Edge distance and spacing
- Installation torque
- Project or engineering specification
TruBolt sizes are not automatically interchangeable. Check the relevant product listing or seek professional advice before ordering.
Shop Galvanised TruBolts Online
Galvanised TruBolts are preassembled wedge-type anchors for suitable solid-concrete applications. Once inserted into a correctly prepared hole, controlled tightening of the nut draws the tapered section into the expansion clip. This forces the clip against the sides of the hole to form the fixing.
The current range includes:
- M12 × 100 mm
- M16 × 125 mm
- M20 × 125 mm
- M20 × 160 mm
Each product listing provides the relevant dimensions, SKU and installation-tool information. Installation should always follow the product instructions and project requirements.
Choosing Concrete Anchor Bolts
The correct concrete anchor bolts depend on the item being installed and the concrete substrate. Guardrail Direct products may require different anchors according to their baseplate design.
For example, the 114 mm surface-mounted bollard listing recommends four M16 × 125 mm galvanised TruBolts. The 165 mm model recommends four M20 × 125 mm anchors. Always check the product page rather than assuming that one bolt suits every bollard, guardrail post or safety barrier.
Concrete Fixings for Guardrails and Bollards
These concrete fixing bolts may be used with compatible surface-mounted products across:
- Warehouses and factories
- Car parks
- Commercial premises
- Industrial applications
- Pedestrian or vehicle-separation areas
Typical products may include surface-mounted guardrails, posts and safety bollards. The effectiveness of the finished installation depends on the anchor, baseplate, concrete and installation quality, not the bolt alone.
Other Concrete Fixing Options
Different products require different fasteners. A masonry anchor screw flange head uses a threaded design that cuts into a compatible concrete or masonry substrate. Guardrail Direct’s M10 × 150 mm version is listed for fixing rubber wheel stops to concrete.
A mushroom head bolt has a different function and is generally used to connect compatible guardrail components. It should not be treated as a substitute for a specified baseplate anchor.
