Guardrail Directs 50mm post bolt (commonly known as Mushroom Head bolts) are used when connecting guardrails to posts. These guardrail specific bolts are designed with an oval locator beneath the head that engages with the slots in the rail preventing the bolt from spinning whilst tightening the nut.
All Mushroom Head bolts are Hot Dip Galvanized making them suitable for a lifetime of use in the harshest of outdoor environments.
Guardrail Directs Mushroom Head post bolts are supplied with a 32mm oversized nut eliminating the need for a washer. These can also be supplied by request with a standard M16 nut (24mm).
